Lab Hangout - Sheffield

Led by the founder of The Coaching Lab and creator of MatchPlay Cards, Jack Rolfe will present an evening of; In-game coaching, session creation and how we can begin to bridge the gap between training and the game. 

MatchPlay Cards have been developed with four channels of focus about how psychology can be weaved into our coaching practice to support the next generation of player; 1) Transferring responsibility 2) Ever-changing environment with ‘Randomness’ 3) Training ‘above’ the game and 4) Being reflective.

Jack has racked up close to 50,000 miles visiting sporting environments across the world to gain a better understanding of what coaching can look and feel like. He has spent his most recent years working within hockey youth development, whilst studying Sports Coaching Science at Canterbury Christ Church University.

This evening is open to coaches of all sports, ages and levels of experience from across the sporting landscape who are looking to further their knowledge and connect with other coaches. The plan of action:
